Community Support

Omniscient Turtle believes in giving back to the community. We participate in a variety of efforts in the Austin area to maintain and improve our city.

Computer Accessibility

Omniscient Turtle partners participate in AIR events that help to create accessible web sites for non-profits, artists, and musicians. Through our efforts as Team Navanax we have created software to help Knowbility, the organization that runs the AIR events, create and maintain its own web site.

Rob Sartin presented at JavaOne 2003 on creating accessible web sites with dynamic content production. Rob is also a panelist at SXSW Interactive in 2004 in a panel on creating accesible navigation called "Onramps: Creating Accessible Site Navigation"; we're thinking of changing the title to "Navigating the Web without a Guide Dog" or something like that.

Health-Related Organizations

Our partners participate in annual bicycle rides to support bicycle safety, Diabetes research, and cancer survivors. We invite you to help us give by sponsoring Rob Sartin in the 2004 Ride for the Roses.
